Broke out the Lang I bought last fall to try it out for the first time.
I wanted to do some baby back ribs. I have a rib and brisket comp coming up in a few weeks.
I threw on 6 racks (to sell ) , the same amount I will be cooking at the comp.
The people I sold them to sent me back pics of the...
I had a 9 lb brisket flat waiting to go. Weather was halfway decent for once. Rubbed and onto the wsm with hickory. Could have used a little more time on. Smoker but everybody was hungry.
I for a recipe like a moink ball. It was a spinoff of Jb's recipe.
It used sausage and stove top stuffing. U rolled into ballls and wrapped in bacon (just like a moink).

Tried some Costco short ribs tonight.
Hit them with salt, pepper, and garlic salt. The family gave them the thumbs up. I think next
time they get foiled, and some broth next time-
Had a few friends over. Fired up the webber and smoked it with some hickory. did a 6 lb rib roast with a garlic and herb paste-
Not bad at all- I served it with salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and fresh yeast rolls.
A few pics of the ribs I made on Saturday. Made 5 slabs of babybacks- 2 went to a friend, 3 went to me and my FIL to ease the pain of watching Mich State spank Mich. First try at post pics here, hope it turns out OK-

I know so of ya guy's are from S.E. Mich. I went to Sam's club Friday in Southgate, and they had a sale on the following-
ribs - $2 per lb
pork loins $1.19 lb
A pretty good sale I thought. :)
