Hachiko is an Akita Inu dog from Japan. He belonged to a Tokyo University Professor Eisaburo Ueno. He is known for his loyalty to Professor Eisaburo Ueno because when the professor died he still wait his master in Shibuya Station. Hachiko died in 1935. In 1934, a Hachiko bronze statue established at Shibuya Station and his stuffed are kept at the National Museum of in Ueno, Tokyo.
