I don't have any brown sugar in the house and
I really want to make some. What's my best bet instead of brown sugar? I looked for a substitute but I don't have molasses either. I'm making these:

Well, school is starting and this year I plan on waking up early and making my own fresh pancakes. I don't want a very elaborative one. Just a simple basic one. I've found some on google but I prefer getting recipes from people here because they are usually experienced.
I made this today and I'm eating it right now. Only thing is, my frosting and cake came out darker then yours. My frosting was like a cinnamon brown and my cake was a very light brown. Nonetheless, its delicious.
I've had uni at a sushi bar. It definitely wasn't cooked but I don't think it was completely raw. I'm pretty sure it was boiled. Either way, I didn't like it very much.
They're frozen fish fillets but they seem really fresh when you cook them, plus they're easy to use.
Anyway, I need a way to make them in a pan. I used to just marinate them overnight but I wanna try something different.
