Foods to go out of your way for

Probably something Asian. There is a little Hole-in-the-wall (strip mall) Asian Restaurant on the way in on I 20 to Atlanta. We had some really fantastic Sizzling Rice Soup. I'd go for that again. (Anyone have a recipe???):brows:

    Sorry Folks

Sushi, all I've heard is you mentioning some bad news & feeling down. I don't think that's grouchy. It's good of you to apologize if that's how you see your behavior, but you haven't come across that way. Continuing to hope things are going to really improve for you. Who's your team?

    Bridal Shower Advice

I did not have any kind of showers for my first marriage but did for the real thing 2 1/2 years ago. I loved opening the gifts at the shower and at home after the wedding. I registered at a housewares type of store and at a large hardware store. I registered for gifts from $10.00 to $200.00...

    Have recipe-need baking instructions-HELP!

I didn't realize that it was unusual. It could have had vinegar in it and I wouldn't have known the difference. I'll learn. I intend to try a lot of different recipes. Is there any point in a recipe like that one that I would ever be able to stop the process until the following day or so...

    Have recipe-need baking instructions-HELP!

Thanks tdejarnette. I couldn't get to the computer to check for responses for a while so I took my best guess. (Scary, huh?) It's rising now. Wish me luck. As I was cleaning my Pride & Joy my eyes fell on the book that came with it and I was wondering if there may be something good along...

    Have recipe-need baking instructions-HELP!

I now have a great Kitchenaid mixer and am ready for my first attempt at making bread. What I would like is a nice French or Italian loaf but this recipe seems simple for a first attempt. I bought two different packages of yeast. The first reads "Active Dry Yeast" and comes in three 1/4 oz...

This explanation takes place every couple years

My 2 cents: It's your site. Run it the way you want. It's not a democracy. Apparently a lot of people are at least, very comfortable with how you do it. There are a pretty good number of regular members. Ironchef has a good suggestion but I like that we sort of know the people we're...
