I'm 26 years old and I have been working as a chef for the past 4 years, but I have decided to follow my true passion and turn to film making. I recently graduated from the Australian Film, Television & Radio School (AFTRS).
I have been cooking passionately since I was a little tyke, which (among other reasons) is why I decided to start my apprenticeship. However, I have found that whilst I love cooking as much as I do, cooking professionally has not had the same effect on me. I much prefer cooking for my friends and family in my own kitchen.
Thankfully, cooking professionally has not dented my enjoyment for cooking. Quite the contrary. I am more passionate now for having experienced it.
Despite working with some extremely talented chefs, I credit my mum for teaching me to cook and passing down her own passion for cooking.
