Amen mate. Chef uniforms aren't a fashion statement, they're made that way for a reason. I can't stand it when people work in a kitchen not dressed appropriately. Or when they do things that are obvisouly unsafe and will hurt them,

I tell you one field I'd really like to get into, thats film and Television catering, I think that'd be pretty awesome, having your kitchen built on wheels and cooking for the stars on location. But for now I'm happy with my cafe work, since i dont have to work nights at the moment, oh yeah!

Ow, can't say I've ever cut myself bad with a knife, certainly not enough to require stitches. but I have seen other people do it. I worked with a guy who liked to flick croutons in the air with the tip of his Cooks knife. Silly thing to do, he accidently cut himself while flinging the croutons...
