I thought y'all would like to know that Dave's step-son called me this morning and I now have his email address. I told him about this thread and the others and he said he'd like to read them so I'm sending him the links. He is the person who handled Dave's burial and is a lovely man.

I've drooled over the All-Clad slow cookers! But sadly, I have to make do with 2 Rival. I have no complaints about them - they work very well. But they are no where near as beautiful as the All-Clad one.

Saphellae, those kittens are just beautiful! In the pics, they look like identical twins! Is it hard to tell them apart?

I'm glad to see someone else mention Super Target. I don't have one super close to me here, but that's where I shop when I visit my mom in Houston. I was so surprised at the quality of their produce and cheeses. Also, their store brand is quite good and their in-house bakery is very, very good...

My wonderful son, Neil, just grilled chicken wings and drummies, gorgeous sausages, and made some delicious baked beans! I feel totally spoiled - not to mention totally full!!!!

I am so sorry to hear about this Laurie. Bless your heart, you have had a really rough couple of years with this. The idea of a blood clot is very scary indeed. I guess Sam's is my favorite place for groceries now. We used to have Albertson's, and I loved them. Now, I get the things I can't get at Sam's at our Super WalMart.
