Sweet!! I'm new with the buffalo wing making, but my favorite bar makes some awesome unbreaded wings that I'm working on replicating. Thanks for the quick reply too!

Quick, help with buffalo wings before game today

So I'm making buffalo wings for a superbowl party that is an hour and a half from my house. I was going to fry them, bring them to the party naked, then toss them in a slow cooker with the sauce for awhile. Will this cause them to get soggy since they'll cool down during the car ride? Or...

Tell me about cooking a live lobster

Awesome, thanks for the info everyone! I have always heard around here that it's too much work to do lobster and to just go to a restaurant, but that'll be easy as pie to do. We'll probably get together and do it sometime in January after the holidays, so I'll let you all know how it goes.

Tell me about cooking a live lobster

So my fiance and I were talking with his cousin and girlfriend about doing some lobsters at home. We are in MN, about as far from any ocean as you can get in the US. I've never cooked live lobster before, but it can't be that hard from the bit I've read so far. So, for the complete lobster...

Hi, I haven't been around here in awhile. I downloaded the trial version and have been working with it a bit. So far so good. My question is, have you kept the preinstalled recipes and lists, or did you make your own and delete the other stuff? I'm really into having a lean system, without...

    Sweet potatoes: fresh for canned

thanks auntdot; that's kind of what i figured, that it would be packed by weight. yes, can sizes are so impossible to figure out these days, whether it's by weight or volume. i'll figure 4-5lbs of fresh s.potatoes and see how that works and adjust if needed.

thanks for all the help guys. after showing him this thread and talking to few relatives, they convinced him that our countertop is likely not glued in and should be easy to remove. still haven't sold him on the butcher block idea yet, but at least he's given up on tile. it may still have to...

    falk vs mauviel: cleaning them

i'm thinking of buying a copper pan, it's a toss up between falk and mauviel. i like the brushed surface of the falk more than the shiny surface of the mauviel, but mauviel is available at bed bath and beyond so i can use 20% off coupons, which drops the price quite a bit. can someone who has...
