    Better cornbread

    Guacamole dip

    Ingredients: 2 large avocados 1 tbls. lemon juice 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 small tomato, deseeded and chopped 1 teaspoon salt optional 1/4 cup sour cream 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 tbl. spoon chopped cilantro Remember a cut avocado turns brown quickly when exposed to air.     Better cornbread

    I love jalapeno cheese corn bread. Just use your corn bread recipe and add chedder cheese and chopped jalapeno's to your batter. Bake as usual. Serve hot with butter. Yummy!

    Pour in 1/2 oz. Kahlua, 1/4 oz. Frangelico, 1/4oz. creme De Cacao, stir and than pour 2 oz. cream & stir again pour into a rocks glass. This a refreshing after work drink. Enjoy.

    Margarine for shortening

    I use butter or margarine with alot of my cookie recipes. I have to make snickerdoodles when the grand kids visit. Yes it is fine to sub. butter or margarine.
