    It was, it didn't take long for the oil to heat up at all. My stove doesn't say whether it's high or medium and whatnot so I just had to guestimate what medium high was. I was probably way off :lol:

    Too late, I purchased one already :lol:, it said it was pre-seasoned or something like that. What does that mean anyway? How can a pan/skillet be seasoned?

    Hmmmm...I prefer my steak without teflon. I guess it won't kill me to make one more purchase. I won't try broiling with the stove I have now, never really noticed if it had one of those pans or not. It's a really old stove. I don't want to wait until I move because I have my mind and stomach set...

    Thanks everyone, the only pan I have is nonstick unfortunately. I'm moving in a couple of weeks and I don't want to buy anything else while I'm in my current home. I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best lol. I'll post a picture of it if it isn't a complete disaster.
