    Brining pork chops before frying?

    I thought that brining actually allowed the meat to change molecular struction so that it actually HELD IN the juices instead of allwoing them to run out? not sure tho.... the reason we brine turkey... makes it more moist .. oui?

    herbs are starting to flower so im opting for italian tonite to use up some of them... italian sausage, marinara sauce, peppers out of the garden and fresh basil, oregano, thyme and parsley out of the herb garden....

    I will be having quite a few pears this fall and found a recipe called Spiced Pear Cardamom Butter. Was lookinf for a cheaper source of cardamom! I had no clue it was the 3rd most expenisive spice... LOL.. This weekend will be canning tomatoes....( no cardamom tho ;)
