Hey Katie I did the opposite... I came from the suburbs of Cleveland to DC recently. Everyone out here is a hurry to do... umm... nothing. Cooking seems to be the only time I get to slow down.
Hello to you as well Uncle Bob!
I just wanted to say hi! I've been posting my recipes on my company website for a while and figured it was time to venture out and see what everyone else is doing.
If you have access to lump charcoal you will never go wrong. It's typically used for pig roasts, but it is amazing for everything. It burns at a medium heat but last a long time so you'll get a great tasting steak every time.
The prevention guides "Slow Cooker Recipes" is loaded with healthy dishes for the whole family. I found it in the check out line of a Giant Grocery Store last week. I never knew you could cook desserts in a slow cooker. I would highly recommend this book for fall recipes.
