Teflon will outgass around 600 degrees and mild flue like symptoms have been reported. Your cooking oil, lard or shortning will have reached it's smoke point between 350-425 degrees and the smoke produced will have killed your birds long before you reach the teflon's ourgassing temperature.

Nonstick and wok are two words that usually don't go well togather. Wok cooking requires extreme high heat that would probably destroy the nonstick surface. Now if you're using it for it for stir-fry that's probably OK.

Wash them in warm soapy water. Some only wipe thiers off but that dosn't sound like a very good practice to me. The only nonstick I use a wet towel to clean are the George Foreman grills and that's be cause they aren't emersable.

I don't have a CI grill pan but I do have a Calphalon hard anodized and an Anolon hard anodized with nonstick cooking surface plus a De'Longhi electric grill and much prefer using the De'Longhi. It heats rapidly and I really like that it has a lid. It's also great great for slow cooking baby...

My thoughts are that this is Circulon's top line cookweare and should compete very well with any other cookware in it's price range. My daughter has Circulon Style which was thier top of the line when she bought it plus a few pieces of Circulon professional and they all performe very well...

My daughter uses Circulon and tells me that the cooking surface isn't a cleaning a problem. Why would it be? It's a high quality nonstick surface. She also says when cooking eggs the ridges aren't a problem.

I'm also an Anolon fan and bought a Calphalon One nonstick 10" everyday pan to compare to the Anolon cookware I have and find that I prefer the Anolon Titanium and Advanced nonstick.
