    TNT Mexican Brownies

Good stuff! Problem is, I love eating the discs straight out of the package. :pig:

Need Help with Fireside Antojitos! Can't find a recipe!

OF COURSE! DUHHHHHHH. I make a kick *** guacamole! Maybe an avocado dip, not as chunky. Puree avocados and my spices in with sour cream or plain yogurt. MUST. EXPERIMENT. Thanks!

Need Help with Fireside Antojitos! Can't find a recipe!

Thanks for the ideas! I'll give them a whirl in 2 weeks with the 425 for 5-10 minutes method and let you know how they turn out. Also, I'm thinking of changing that dip...basil goes with mexican flavors? Maybe a mild cilantro dip. Or a roasted red pepper dip. I know I could probably deep fry...

Need Help with Fireside Antojitos! Can't find a recipe!

But would slicing them give the outside layer that crispy crust? And what about melting? Would it just be an awful mess? This would help so much if I could actually see/taste these things? Canadians out there...wanna go have a snack and report back?

So...I see that I received comments/karma from my user CP, and in that box is says x points. But that number is way different than the number of comments/karma? What is it?

Need Help with Fireside Antojitos! Can't find a recipe!

I came across this menu from a restaurant in Canada: http://www.montanas.ca/. Click on "From the Kitchen" to display the menu. On the appetizer menu, there's a dish, "Fireside Antojitos". They sound fantastic and I must have this recipe for my parties! Never heard of baked tortilla pinwheels...

    Moving to Kuwait...need recipes :-)

Another easy dish is Chicken Sumac (Sum-mak). Sumac is crushed dried berries in the form of a powder, can be found almost anywhere in the middle east. The easiest way to make it is to take a roasted chicken, cut it up into pieces (breasts, legs, thighs, etc), leaving the skin on. On an...

    Twinkie Casserole

 I wondered about that, too! As it would be "dashed" onto a layer of Oreos.

Roasting Pans - worth the splurge?

I do not own one, and it's time. I would love to get a nice $100+ nonstick Calphalon with rack, but really don't have that money to spend right now. I've been seeing some Kitchenaid versions for under $50. What are the deal breakers for roasting pans? Do they have to be deep? Nonstick a plus...

I love OXO and buy their products exclusively. The rubber grip for kitchen tools, and the SteeL line for serveware. Love the stuff...so comfortable and high quality.

    ISO Appetizer Ideas

Big bag of frozen meatballs from Costco. Big jug of Koyasha's sweet and savory marinade. Dump 1 layer meatballs in a pan. Fill with water halfway up the meatballs. Heat until bubbling and add the marinade. Simmer, turning the meatballs. The longer they simmer, the more "glazed" they get. Serve...
