I think that is the issue isn't it. There are self cleaning ovens out there, unfortunately we cant all afford them. That's why I am looking ata a less technical, more affordable solution. Thank you

I see what you're saying, there are motors now which are much quieter, so this shouldn't be too difficult. Is the noise a big issue would you say? I know they can be pretty loud can't they.

No problem at all, I completely understand, unfortunately you need to be a little skeptical in this day and age, believe me I am, so I can't blame you for that! :cool: Now you're just making me envious, we're lucky if we get 5 days a year that's nice enough weather to cook outside.

I just meant the bit about having a self clean 1 for 40 - 50 years, I didn't know they had been out that long, is it a feature worth having? Yes, the easy clean is just a coating which makes it easier to clean, it's a nano coating
