    Baking Soda substitution for pretzel water?

    I'm making hot pretzels and the recipe calls for 6 cups of water and 6 T of baking soda to boil them in briefly... I put 6 cups of water in and only had like 3 T of soda! What can I do? Can I use baking powder for the rest or will it ruin the pretzels??? HELP!!
