    when I make dough I use a bowl flour, salt,water, and olive oil. I knead it in the bowl it seems to go faster. after it feels like a "baby's bottom" I oil the bowl turn the dough over cover with plastic wrap and let it raise. divide it flatten roll out let raise again.

    yep Cuisinart 14 cup here also 4 or 5 years old still works( like your old one) I put the dry ingredients pulse a few times to mix The add hot water from the tap and process until it becomes a ball It's ready in about 40 seconds to go into a bowl for the first rise.
