    thanks for all the replies and all the info. forewarned is forarmed. it did not come wtih a manual in the first place :( i did not unscrew it completely, just a few turns, so i am hopeful it is not dislocated out of some slot, will put some butance into it and see what happens surroundings...

    thanks for the reply, yes, the picture is representative of the screw that i turned which was coming out (it did not come out all the way) you think by unscrewing it, i have ruined it? i will indeed fill it outside. do you say that because of my unscrewing the pin out.

    thanks for the advice, i guess if the oil is too hot, then the tradeoff is that the inner portions of the prawn will be left a wee-bit uncooked but the upside is that the prawn toast is not that oily.

    thanks for the replies, i made some prawn toast and gave my guests some of the sauce, they liked it. it has been 3 days since i made the sauce, so i think i will need to throw it away since it has probably gone bad. next time i will try veggie stock, (oxo does cubes, maybe i can try them :))

    thanks for the reply, what sort of acid do you recommend i use? dies the acid result in the creaminess? fresh chillies, sounds like a good idea :), i guess a range of mushrooms would give it more flavour. an explosion of flavours :)
