    Just made some jam for the first time.

    I want to start making jams and jellies and other preserved foods. I bought a cookbook on preserving foods .. hopefully I'll be getting some peaches this weekend from Fredericksburg Tx. We're going to drive there Sunday.

    Thanks so much for all the welcomes. My favorite foods to cook are French & Mexican & Southern foods. The weather has been very hot here most of the month it's been over 100 every afternoon. I'm ready for Fall.
