    Thanks for the Frosting Idea - I usually use Cool Whip - Flavored Pudding Mix (instant) and pineapple juice. I will try yours next time:wink:

    Yes, I would have to agree. Between From Scratch and Out of the box. Can't say I can tell the difference. only in time and money maybe :wink: I had to laugh though cuz my trick for angel food cake is the box.....Sometimes it's even the grocery store. Shhhhhh!!!! Don't tell my DH:lol:

    Well If had all those tomatoes I would probably turn them into a sauce. That way I could portion it out and freeze it. Then whenever I needed a tomato sauce I would have it on hand. It could be used on chicken, pastas, pizza, and seafood. :smile:

    A lot of times bread doesn't rise because it wasn't kneaded long enough. usually 8- 10 min until bread is silky smooth. This could account for the big holes too since the gases would still be trapped or not distributed throughout the bread evenly. Just a thought.:wink:

    Oh and yes I think your bread was beautiful and I am sure it was yummy! I can't hardly get bread out of the oven without devouring it. I eat it as soon as it won't burn my mouth. Bread is the vessel on which I eat my butter!
