Thanks for posting. What are Paula Dean's "shows" like?...I'm like you! I enjoy learning new things but I don't want to become a "groupie" or a "follower!" And I don't want to buy "star" brands and products just to look "in with the in crowd!"

I use to eat at their restaurant in Carlsbad CA...It's been years since I've eaten thete. The grounds around the restaurant and motel were sure pretty!

I enjoy watching Buddy interact with his family...They can be dysfunctional at times and even childish! But all in all it's obvious that they really love each other! ...The cakes they create are fantastic! Wonderful art! I really enjoy the show.

Has anyone ever eaten at "The Hat" in So CA? I love their pastrami's and beef dips and fries covered with gravy! Wish they would open up outlets here in AZ...Don't get back to So CA very often anymore. Here's a link to their site: The Hat, World Famous Pastrami

It's nice to be back on this forum. Hi to everyone...I signed up a year or so ago but I had to put my interests on hold for awhile. My husband developed pancreatic cancer and he passed away last summer. Sad! My husband sure loved your forum too! Anyway it's great to be back! Thanks! Berry...
