Yes, he is a gentleman. He does have other restaurants around England. All of which are very difficult to get a booking for and all run to the same high standard. I like his style but his food is not meant to be for everyday consumption. It is highly stylized and very intricate.

I and a load of my single friends are getting together for a meal this evening. We'll each bring something to the table and some wine and just have a lovely singles Valentine! It should be a lot of fun. I am taking tempura prawns and a mixed rice dish.

I have to admit that I do it for the sheer joy of doing it and never even think about the energy I put into it or whether it is worth it. I just love the achievement and having food from garden to table in minutes.:smile: My garden isn't very big but I make up for that by using lots of hanging...

I think it is very important to remember that every diabetic is different. I, for instance, cannot eat fruit with out injecting extra++++ insulin. I know other diabetics that can practically live on fruit. I have a very low carb diet and that keeps me balanced ( at least in the diabetic sense :)...
