    A couple of pizzas

Hmmm? Good question. I may have overdone it when i was in my big time crazy pizza learning phase. I would make it 4-5 times a week. Sometimes give it to the neighbors, just wanted to make it and perfect it. I would make pizza just for fun. Dough and sauce home made, i did make my own fresh...

At room temp for an hour or so, cut into thirds and place in lightly oiled round tupperware. Ferment in fridge for up to 5 days. Day 3 is about the best.

ISO Help with Deep Dish Pizza

One tip would be use a thicker sauce. A cooked sauce made from whole peeled canned tomatoes does good on deep dish, runnier sauces will flood your pie and make it soggy. Pick a recipe and try it. Tweak it, and try again. Here is my last deep dish.

    A few of my pizzas

Thanks for the compliments. I use whole peeled Italian style tomatoes. Smashed and cooked down with salt, oregano and garlic to taste. Very good sauce!

    My first attempt at Stromboli

I have never seen them with the sauce inside, always served on the side. I think it depends where in the country you are, just like pizza is very different in different locations. Its all good!

    My first attempt at Stromboli

Thanks! Very similar. Pizza, calzone and stromboli. Is kind of like burrito, taco, tostada. Same ingredients, different way of going about it. Stromboli is layed out flat like a pizza, then rolled. Like a big jelly roll of dough, meat and cheese. Stromboli usually has meat as the main...

    My first attempt at Stromboli

This was fantastic and i will make it again. Ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, mozzarella, and a little leftover chopped onion, mushroom and black olive. With a side of home made pizza sauce. Very easy and very tasty!

    A few of my pizzas

Wow, thats a tough one. Although the deep dish pizzas are very good. I would say hand tossed with sausage, mushroom, onion and black olive. The fresh mozzarella makes a huge difference IMHO. Shredded cheese is good but the fresh mozz makes a more interesting pizza. A few fresh basil leaves give...

    A few of my pizzas

Well Thanks! I don't blame you for cheating on the dough, it can be a mess and time consuming. I work a 7 on 7 off. So i have a lot of time on my hands. And a wife who doesn't mind cleaning up after me. :chef:

    A few of my pizzas

I mix it up now and again, but typical dough 4.5 cups bread flour 1 pack ADY tsp salt tsp sugar 2 tbsp olive oil 1.75 cups water I have recently gotten into making home made fresh mozzarella. I make my own sauce as well.
