    Calphalon One

Has anyone tried the Calphalon One infused cookware? I was really impressed with the balance and feel of these pans. I'm planning on replacing a skillet and stock pot and was wondering about the good, bad, and ugly?

Una Receta de Las Fiestas (A Recipe for Parties)

For a real crowd pleaser, substitute the standard green chiles for sandia or lumbre Hatch chiles. You may lose some friends but it will surely be entertaining.

    Mexico in my Backyard!

Great recipe. What amazes me is how many different countries have a "take" on the traditional Mexican Wedding cakes. Mexico and Latin America have made many contributions to food and cooking around the World. Yes, Asia can thank our southern neighboors for chiles. Northern California is...

    Mango Cooler with Prickly Pear

This was a great addition to my Mexican Christmas feast. If you love great exotic tastes with wonderful color, give this one a try. Carne Adovada

Here's a great recipe I got from a friend. Although I've sampled several different takes on Carne Adovada, this is my favorite! Carne Adovada 4 lbs. pork butt, cut into 1-inch cubes 8 large cloves garlic, crushed w/garlic press 15-18 New Mexico hot red chile pods 2 t cumin seed 2 t coriander...

    "The Aztec Blender" The Molcajete

Great write up on molcajetes. No salsa maker should go without one. The piece of rock used as a pestle is actually called a "tejolote." Sorry for the noob 2 cents!

Where can I find cookware USA made?

I believe Analon is only produced overseas. Some Calphalon cookware is made in the US but most of their lines are from China.
