I know this isn't anything special, but my grandma gave me a box full of recipies she's collected over the years, and these brownies were really good, and only dirtied one dish to make.. So I thought i'd share it.
Saucepan Brownies
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2 squares unsweetened chocolate (all I had was semi-sweet, but it still turned out good)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup AP flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring frequently. When melted, remove from heat, and stire in sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, salt, and nuts.
Pour batter into a greased square brownie pan. Bake 25-30 min, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool, and cut into squares.
