tee-hee, yankeefan, don't worry about it. i keep an enormous amount of things in my cupboards, very few of which i'd mentioned. i hadn't thought of just how many things i have on hand until i read some other posts.

a well-stocked kitchen can be a lovely thing.
 
:chef: Canned tomatoes (whole, diced and crushed)
Basmati Rice
Pastas (penne, fett, spaghett, rotino, elbow, orzo,,,)
grated and shredded Parm
garlic of every kind
canned black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas and mixed beans
Half'n half cream
skinless boneless chicken breasts
a really good smoked sausage
Swiss cheese, cheddar and a mild white cheese
bacon
cooked and raw prawns
dried chicken, beef and vegetable stocks
butter
flours
cornstarch or tapioca starch
soy sauce
hot sauce
sliced almonds, pecans, walnuts, pinenuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds
basil, oregano, tarragon, thyme, marjoram, dill, rosemary, mint, bay leaves, and various mixtures
curry, seasoning salt, celery salt, tumeric, cumin, chili, cayenne, sea salt, table salt, pepper
white and red wine,
eggs
celery, peppers, onions, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, spinach and various greens
Italian dressing, olive oil

Creative people need supplies on hand when they get an inspiration!

That's my excuse for a (literally) bulging pantry, the stocked shelves in the basement and the full deep-freeze. :chef:
