I had some leftover rice so I made a riff on risotto: melted butter in a pan and added the rice, a tablespoon or so of half and half, a big splash of white wine, about a half cup of grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. DH grilled up some asparagus and green beans from the farmers market and I stirred those in. I had sliced leftover grilled chicken breast on the side and DH had a grilled chorizo link with his. I tasted it and it wasn't as spicy I expected. Good stuff.

I once had a flan pan. Made a few. Big hit! Then I got away from them. I ended up giving my flan pan to my son and his wife. Big mistake. Should have kept it.
