I had some leftover rice so I made a riff on risotto: melted butter in a pan and added the rice, a tablespoon or so of half and half, a big splash of white wine, about a half cup of grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. DH grilled up some asparagus and green beans from the farmers market and I stirred those in. I had sliced leftover grilled chicken breast on the side and DH had a grilled chorizo link with his. I tasted it and it wasn't as spicy I expected. Good stuff.
