Sad to hear. I ate at the Chicago restaurant twice in the last 10 years. The food was outstanding (although pricey). Then they closed down last year, which was kind of a surprise.

It's the end of an era.
 
Charlie would take one kid from high school that was borderline for trouble and bring him into his kitchen to teach him. Most of them went on to better things in life. Not many folks knew about that about him. :angel:
