How about this plating :) Please advise

Looks good, you can create quite powerful flavours from very simple ingredients. You could also smoke the aubergine for another take on it. Or use a linguine or spaghetti.
 
Someone else may have already said this, but I would chop up the basil and sprinkle it on top, or maybe cut it into slivers. Basil goes great with pasta and red sauce so I think it should really be incorporated better. Otherwise the photo looks great!
