Actually I don't buy candy at other times of the year.

I will admit to the occasional Snickers bar if I stop at a convenience store.

But you might be correct about this belonging on the "Guilty Pleasures" thread.

But only once a year.

And really. Me kid?????

What about February 15 - National Half-off Chocolate Day?

Freeze it. Then it won't be readily available and in sight.

Yes, I do. And do not try to fool of me.

After I find of the DC Hidden Camera of my computer, I shall go straight to the Guilty Pleasures Board and speak of such things as SweetTarts and Butterfinger candy bars.

So!

With love,

1. Set a bowl of candy on the front step.

2. Go out the back door and come around front.

3. See the bowl of candy from a new perspective. And it's all for You?!

4. Yes. Freeze them. Frozen Snickers are way better than regular. And you can't possibly eat them as fast.

5. Enjoy.

Never knew about National Half-off Chocolate Day.

But now that I do my butt is in trouble.

You're just plain mean to tell me that.

Pac, That's a good idea but even if it's out of sight I'll know it's there.

Those of us with low willpower can't resist.

Besides I love frozen Snickers bars.

The problem is getting smaller as a Dove Bar is consumed.

I really, really like your thinking.

Cat, let me know when you find that camera.

As long as it doesn't get a picture of my butt growing I guess I'll be okay.

I wish I could call a situation like that a 'problem'. I've got real problems to deal with in life......:)
I would just not buy any candy and just ignore them if they show up.

I never have any trick or treaters in my building.

Every year I preheat the oven in case a nice plump one come to the door, just kidding my pretty mwahahaha!

I put a small bowl of pocket change by the door, if someone turns up I will give them a few coins, easy and so far, free.

I love free!

Thanks for the belly laugh, Aunt Bea! Good one!

Zagut, recognizing your problem is the first step. Glad you're finally figuring it all out.

Halloween is a perfect excuse for a once a year splurge. Don't feel guilty. You've got to let loose once in a while. It's a good thing!
