Red face Still Stumbling Over English!

I stood in a grocery store line to the cashier behind a lady who was buying very many dog treats, toys, and food. In front of the dog lady were two loud and unruly children. I asked her how many dogs she had as we stood there waiting.

"Just one," she said. "A great big old yellow Lab. Do you have a dog?"

I said, "Yes, I have a boxer and German shepherd mix."

Remember, there are loud children ahead of her.

"Oh," she said, "Do they get along well with each other?"

"Oh, yes," I replied. "They're both inside of one dog."

She burst out laughing, then I realized she hadn't heard the word "mix."

With love,
~Cat
