i'm still trying for pole position with the furry rodents. i don't think it will ever end.

i guess it's a seasonal thing here. in summer, we either go to the beach, the lake, or go fishing (@ either, on boats, piers, or from shore),; go to a real county fair with animal contests, rides and games; go peach and plum picking; or go outlet mall shopping.
yeah, the latter sucks, but it keeps dw happy. and we get to buy fireworks and get hot dogs for lunch, and go out for dinner.

in the fall, we go apple and pumpkin picking; hiking and fishing; work around the house and yard (an excuse to watch football); go to craft and artisan fairs. again, more keeping dw happy. and eating at good restaurants.

in winter, we ski and sleighride, lots of skiing, almost weekly. and dinner out again. christmas is enough shopping for a while.

spring is fishing, camping, trips into nyc for a festival or street fair, gardening, and lots of family birthdays.
