Glazed Meatloaf

My son goes back for seconds when we have this meatloaf. I love the
combination of flavors in this meatloaf.
Enjoy! Debbie

GLAZED MEATLOAF

MEATLOAF
1 1/2 pound(s) GROUND BEEF; Lean.
1 EGG
1/2 cup(s) BREAD CRUMBS; Dry.
1 clove(s) GARLIC; Minced.
1/3 cup(s) ONION; Chopped.
1 teaspoon(s) WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 teaspoon(s) MARJORAM
1/2 teaspoon(s) SALT
1/2 teaspoon(s) BLACK PEPPER

GLAZE
1/3 cup(s) KETCHUP
1/4 cup(s) BROWN SUGAR; Packed.
1/4 cup(s) APRICOT - PINEAPPLE PRESERVES
_____

In a bowl, combine the lean ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion, salt, pepper, marjoram and Worcestershire sauce.
Mix together well, and place into a loaf pan.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.
About 20 minutes before meatloaf is done.
Remove meatloaf from oven and drain off any fat.
Spread glaze over meatloaf and return to oven for about 20 minutes.
Let meatloaf stand for about 5 minutes to set the glaze before serving.

How to prepare glaze: In a bowl or measuring cup, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar and preserves.
Pour over the meatloaf about 20 minutes before meatloaf is done.
