Lime-Ginger Marinade
This marinade is good with any meat, but I like it best with chicken and pork.
LIME-GINGER MARINADE 2 limes 1 orange 1 inch piece of fresh ginger root, peeled 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 Tbs brown sugar Remove peel from limes and orange and place in food processor or blendor, add the slicee peeled ginger root. Process until finely chopped, about 1 minute. Squeeze juices from limes and orange, mix with water, soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir in processed lime and orange peels and ginger. Marinate steaks or pork chops for 4 hours, but chicken up to 1 hour. Grill and baste with sauce. If serving as a dipping sauce, boil and reduce before using as dipping sauce. |

I'll bet this would be good on shrimp, too.
