I was not expecting to see this food product, but I had to get a bag right when I saw it.
Take a regular looking Lay's potato chip and cook the sucker in 100% sunflower oil and on some black pepper and you have your chip.
Same thickness and size as a regular Lay's potato chip.
The chips did show a good amount of black pepper color which was nice.
The flavor though was not really spectacular. The Kettle chips salt and fresh ground pepper krinkle cut potato chip I tasted had wayyyyyy batter flavor.
I am going to have to give this chip a minor thumbs up. Sorry Lay's, you need to go back and give me a sharper, more powerful, black pepper taste.
