Great Lebanese recipe, goes well with chicken, turkey or fish
1 garlic clove, crushed to paste with a little salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
400 g Greek yoghurt, thinned with 1 tbsp milk
700g young green beans
salt and pepper to taste
Mix together the garlic, cinnamon and yoghurt and season to taste
Cook the beans in boiling salted water, as you like them
After cooking, discard the water and let the beans sit in a colander for a minute to drain the water
Mix the hot beans with the yoghurt mixture, and toss well
These beans are also delicious cold
