Does anyone know of a website which shows how to cut and arrange sheet or round cakes into interesting shapes. My Grandson wants a chicken cake for his birthday and I can't figure out how to do it. Help please! :?
Thank you. I think I can use that duck/chicken cake idea as a pattern and use a round sheet type cake pan. This will not be a 3-D stand up chicken but rather a flat one. Thanks again, this should work.
Wash rose leaves (which haven't been sprayed with any chemicals). Once they are completely dry, "paint" their backsides with melted white chocolate or milk chocolate. When they cool, peel the real leaves off of the chocolate ones. Layer these for the feathered wings.
Go here for some great kid cake recipes. Perhaps you will be inspired to make something similar in a chicken-shape.
For instance, the fat piggy cake could easily be a chicken - the ears could be wings and then you could change the shape of the legs. Create the face to be chicken-esque with a beak etc - FUN!
