How do you make box brownies chewy?

i like my brownie chewey and not cakey, does anyone know what to do to make it more chewey?

i also want to add reeses peanut butter chips to it, should i mix it in or put them on top? never done it before.

I'm not an expert but I believe the brownie mix box tells you how. I think it instructs you to add an extra egg for cake type. So don't do that for chewy.
