I just made my uncooked Cranberry tangerine pecan relish. I'm planning to roast turkey wings then make stock. So dinner is kind of up in the air. DD wants waffles.

Made DH's favorite lasagna for his birthday today ? and we're taking it to the nursing home where his mother lives to share it with his parents. Their anniversary is also today, so it's a special day

I also made salad and homemade red wine vinaigrette for dressing, and bread sticks. Mini pumpkin cheesecakes for dessert. Feeling much love today

Happy Birthday to DH of GG! And Happy Anniversary to DH's parents!

I am sick of leftovers, so we may have KFC. Been busy today, and we really don't need more leftovers, so since DH is at the other end of town after his eye appointment, he is assigned to pick up fast food.

We had take out tonight. I had KFC $5.00 fill up - crispy chicken breast, 2 mini corn on the cobs and a biscuit. I gave my DD the drink and cookie.

Everyone else had Wendy's.

I have Turkey wings roasting.

Happy Birthday to your DH, Happy Anniversary to his folks, and Happy Day to you too, GG, for making their special day, well, special!

Came home from errands and grocery shopping feeling like I was run over. No desire to cook in spite of a big desire to eat. Dragged out our last bag of hot dogs and a ramekin of mac-and-cheese from the freezer, brought a can of baked beans up from the basement, and pulled out condiments and our last jar of homemade dill pickles from the refrigerator. Steamed the dogs in beer, served it all up, and called it good.

Hi folks. I hope everyone is well.
Craigsy found me wandering about and pointed me back here. I figure I might get in a post or two before being warned off again.

I made a yakisoba noodle stir fry tonight. I've been cooking a lot of Korean and Japanese lately. Starting to get good at making it from scratch.

Bucky? Bucky! :w00t2: Don't you dare get yourself sent to the corner again. Behave yourself, you hear?

I've missed you, too, and stories of your wife and son. He must be in high school by now? Driving, maybe? Glad you're back.

My DH said that your DH is a special kind of crazy. Himself said he did drive like that at one point, but he was much younger than your hubby is right now. Good luck! May the Caffeine be with you.

DH and I would do that back in our 20's and 30's. Now, no way. Hotels are good. My kind of camping.

:flowers::wub: BUCKY!!! I've missed you like crazy..........sooooo good to see you and hope you stick around! Please fill us in on all your news since you've been gone?

GG....you're one loving and generous DIL and wife....!! Happy bday and anniversary to those you love.

Easy dinner here tonight...beer bratts with onions, coleslaw and cucumber salad.
