Sorry Annie, I do not make it to this thread often. Actually, whereas there is a forum slot for "health" most times I find tips all through the site rather than in one spot. You could use the search function up at the top of the page and search for a key phrase.
I put mine in a large holed collander and jostle them around under running water. The holes and bumping up against each other does an excellent job at washing them. Then if they are destined for the frying pan I roll them onto a towel and jostle them there before slicing.
I finished that series a while ago. It was worth the read. However I agree that "On a Pale Horse" was the best of the series.
