Thanks for the link, GG! Just ordered it, and we love ALL of them....sure glad they evolved, as a baby boomer, we grew up with boring meat and potatoes... As a side note: a friend once gave me a whole vanilla pod in a jar of sugar that I let set for awhile and that was the most wonderful...

we splurged on some fresh fettucine yesterday to go with my spicy meat sauce and it was delicious! What I liked about it was that it didn't take as long as the packaged kind of noodles. Next we're going try are the fresh stuffed pasta with a meat sauce.

Lived in Oman for 8 years and the laundry room was on the 3rd floor which included a long flight of stone steps and I had a load just about daily......I didn't need a stairmaster to bulk up my legs....

anything salty...... cheese sticks or any sliced cheese will do, with all crackers out there dill pickles popcorn pretzels esp. the large sourdough rye have to pass on anchovies tho* all breads all fruits except coconut

My 2nd (Pfizer) is this Wednesday and hoping the side effects won't be too onerous.....would love not to wake up with a tag on my toes, either, Lee Vining!! The first one was a breeze, though I wanted to eat everything in sight for days! Guess I'd better start my diet now.....

I keep up with lots of gossip/news out there and this includes what's going on across the pond :) Don't approve of some of the antics out there, however, though I think the queen has done an admiral job given her challenges......some of her offspring and outlaws not so much...........

I like all the salads mentioned so far but really like a good Thai Seafood salad as well.

Sounds like something Julia Child would have done...she loved patting lobsters before boiling......miss her! :)Eggs, not so much!

My nephew, when shopping with his mom, put a bag of Gummy Bears in the cart for his and dad's upcoming camping trip. Had a great camp dinner and then polished off the bag of gummy bears......later that evening both spent the night running in and out of the tent to do their business...a lot...

maybe a little of sugar would have cut the peppery taste.....sorry it was ruined for you.......been there and done that.....lots!
