Well bubba, dont just rightly know :oops: I have used this recipe for more years than I can count. Its great for that quick desert..with a cup of coffee.. or easy camp fire desert. I was a browine leader and needed something simple to teach the girls to fix when we did our overnight camping...

This is an easy desert and one dish too! I use a 8x8 or a 9x9 square glass pan for this. 1 large can of pineapple tidbits or chunks drain half liquid off 1 yellow or white cake mix I use a jiffy mix 1/2 stick butter or margirine 1/4 cup marchino cherrys 1 table spoon cinnamon 1/2 cup crushed...

I tried one that I bought from a GNC store.. did ok for about 5 days then started feeling terrible. :roll: I followed it to the "T"....but had pains in the back and felt like i was bruised in the mid section....hope any one else has better luck than I.

Sorry time has passed for you to do the easter thing... but I dont have to adjust my oven for the foil pans...but then my oven does not cook hot. Did you try it at Easter?

When I use a recipe that calls for coconut extract ..I use coconut milk...like the one that comes in a can for drinks and cooking....Goya is a good brand. You can find it in the orential foods and mexican foods... and in the spice area too. Hope this helps!

Chris, This sounds wonderful, My hubby loves chocolate cake! I do too but only the day its cooked, as most cakes dry out after the first day. This one how ever sounds like it would be great any day. I am for sure going to try this one. I will let you know how we like it. Thanks for sharing...
