    Had a big lunch at a speciality burger place. I had a smash burger with cheese. Craig had 1 of their specialty double burgers. Both with fries.

    Birthday brunch at Cheesecake Factory with bacon and avocado calabrian hollandaise for me, chilaquiles for Craig.     Pot roast with carrots, parsnips, mushrooms, Yukon golds, and pearl onions. I'm stuffed!

    I had half a can of Progresso beef vegetable and barley soup with half a baked potato with butter and sour cream. Craig had a sub with ham, Genoa, hot Capicola, hot cherry pepper relish and red wine vinegar and EVOO dressing. We both had the same for breakfast today.

    The rotisserie chickens in the regular groceries here are a bit over twice the cost of a whole raw chicken. BUT, they are on sale very often, as is a whole fried chicken, as a loss leader for about a US dollar more than the cost of a raw whole chicken. We buy one every once in a while now...

    Just Curious... How do you watch your Cooking youtube videos?

    I don't watch them at all either. Don't want to sit through demonstrations on how to do things (or how NOT to do things sometimes) that I already know how to do. Jusy give me a written recipe that I can quickly skim through to see if I want to bother with it.

    I have one that treats it like sushi. The bodies are boiled for like a minute, the tentacles a bit longer. Then, the tentacles, fins if they are still attached, and 1 body are chopped, mixed with seasoned sushi rice, and I forgot what else, mixture stuffed into remaining body tubes...

    I made shrimp scampi tonight. Unfortunately, we had a mishap and 1 of the bowls fell on the floor and shattered, so the rest was divided between the 2 of us.
