Decided to make brunch, and go shopping a bit later. Brunch was English muffin (toasted and buttered), tomato, corned beef hash topped with over-easy eggs, fried potatoes, and onions.

My crêpe recipe has no sugar in it.

Pumpkin spice cake. Sometimes you feel like nuts, Sometimes you don't.

Beef, and broccoli with jasmine rice. And pumpkin spice cake for dessert.

I do those, plus to scrape my Couché of extra dough, and flour after rising and to cut my biscuits into rectangles (so I don't over work the dough).

Lunch was from my favorite steakhouse. NY strip steak (medium rare), steak fries. Not pictured is a salad (blue cheese dressing), and a side of mushrooms.

When I was a kid, all fridges (electric) with or without freezers were called iceboxes by older people. It was uncommon to hear “refrigerator”.

Was beautiful today. So we had a picnic for dinner. Stopped at a rest area on Rt. 23. I made Italian heros (made on a loaf of bakery semolina seeded Italian bread). Also had fritos and a slice each of cinnamon danish (from Trader Joe's).
