    Got Lava Rocks?

You might also try cleaning out the holes in your burner. If some are blocked, all the pressure will go to the other side. Or, if the burner has burned through you'll get the pressure there but it won't be a hot flame. Sometimes tiny spiders nest in the oriface on the valves. Need to remove...

    Got Lava Rocks?

Lava has, but porous material has not. A lot of high end ($3,000+++) grills still use them. It's less in manufacturing costs for those that don't use porous. The collecting of the drippings in a porous material gives it time to vaporize where as the flavor bars have an almost immediate...

    Got Lava Rocks?

With the briquettes, you should leave a 1/4 to 1/2 inch space between them to let the heat through.

    Got Lava Rocks?

If you must use lava, one layer or you impede the heat. If you can replace the lava with ceramic briquettes, they aren't as porous and won't flare up as much.

    Firemagic grills

The reason I have Firemagic under my name is that my brother built one in an outdoor island at our Palm Springs home. It's not really mine, but I cook on it. It's gas which isn't my choice. It has great control of heat, but the taste isn't there like with charcoal.

    Firemagic grills

I sold them for 20 years along with the newer DCS, Lynx, Solaire, Viking, Etc. (I'm now retired and have nothing to do with the companies) They're very well made our of American materials wherever possible. I just find all mentioned to be beyond expensive. I sold them and couldn't own one...

    Firemagic grills

Top notch company. Been in business probably 70 years selling high end grills. Pricey, but they produce small, medium and huge grills. They use the barrel shaped hood that aids in the flavor. I'd love to have one of their small charcoal grills along side my BGE. I've been to their plant in...

I need all of your help!

Thank you so much! As far as votes, I came in second. My opponent seemed to get 35 votes in the last few hours. I guess they're checking the validity of his votes because I didn't get notice that I came in second. Thanks again!

I'm back to grilling with Charcoal because of FiAir

I used to sell a similar product that was crank actuated. I also sold bellows which didn't need batteries. Good luck. The only way I see it being successful is if it's AS SEEN ON TV and hawked by professionals. But wait!

    Smoke N Fold

Just found a video on it and I thought of a question/problem: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 691125404# It's easy and nice to fold it up when it's clean, but would you simply put it away after using? I think it would be quite a mess.

    Smoke N Fold

Has anyone ever seen this smoker? It sounds too good to be true: I don't know anyone who owns one of these but it looks and sounds amazing. When built it's very similar to the $500 Cookshack that I used to own... and it's only $99.95 http://www.cameronscookware.com/Smoke%2 ... minum.aspx...

    Royal Oak Briquettes

I'm a BGE dealer and my rep told me for a fact that their lump is manufactured by Royal Oak. I've been using the Egg lump because it's delivered to me wholesale. I would like to know the price of a large bag of the RO. We're getting $29.95 for the BGE lump and I really think that's a very...
