I was so full from last nights shrimp and portabellas that I skipped dessert so...

Warm fudge brownies with lots of walnuts for breakfast. Mmmmm sugar rush.

What are you cooking/planning today?

Good morning everyone and happy December 1st.

Boy, it's like a monsoon out there today ... very windy and pouring rain being blown left and right. A great day to stay under the covers with a good book and a cup of hot tea. No such luck here ... I have a bunch of errands and my youngest has an ortho appointment after school.

For dinner, I have a pot of chili simmering away on the stove right now and I'll fix a pan of cornbread to go along with it.

Enjoy the day:chef:

I am going to do something out of my "ground beef cookbook" for Dad and I tonight. Haven't decided what yet though. There are so many great ideas. I got it because it is so hard to cook meat for Dad with his swallowing difficulties, but DH and I are enjoying it too!

I have country style pork ribs defrosting. I wish I had some sauerkraut, but since I don't I will just pepper and spice them a little and throw them in the oven. Mashed potatoes and mashed and buttered pumpkin for the sides.

:)Barbara

I have the bone in Rib Steak that I thawed out but didn't feel like having last night. Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms. Salad and/or a Baked Potato.

Fajitas. Using up some "Half-Price" Sirloin tonight. My dauhgter is pushing hard to establish a "Fajita Night" every week.

I'm making a casserole of egg noodles, cheese sauce, broccoli and Jenni-o turkey ham.

Nice looking pizza!

I'm waiting for help ........ I'm brain dead today.

It's kind of late today, maybe you could wait until tomorrow? I Googled "greek recipe ground lamb" and the about.com site started off with two great sounding recipes. The first a greek style pizza, and the second with ground lamb meatballs in a lemon sauce/soup.

I know nothing at all about Greek cooking, but both these recipes sounded really good.

I know about brain dead days. Not a really good time to try something new.

Hope you feel perkier tomorrow, KL.
