Bought a chicken a couple of days ago and then promtly forgot about it . Its best before date is tomorrow. Is it too late to freeze it now? If I cook it tonight it definately won't be eaten till Sunday, is it safe to re heat it and have it as a normal Sunday dinner or better to eat it cold as a salad? Bearing in mind its the coldest it has been in Ireland for at least the last 40 years (and we really can't cope) so a salad may be pushing it.
