Sure, let it defrost before heating. You will probably have to add more
liquid as the pasta will absorb all the liquids already there.
Won't be quite the same but better than throwing it out.

I think she was joking about there is no leftover pasta in her house. It gets eaten. It's rare in our house too. I have been known to eat it for breakfast on the rare occasions we have any leftover.
