I inadvertently used some refrigerator older soup stock which had slightly fermented in making a chicken stew.

What to do now??
Throw it all out? or is there some fix?? Vinegar or Balsamic Vinegar???

I would toss it and make myself a peanut butter sandwich.

Even if it’s ok I would make myself sick thinking about it.

Years ago in the days before refrigeration people would bring soup stocks to a boil in an effort to kill a variety of bacteria, but that won’t mask the off taste.

We have no way to know how many, if any, of those folks experienced some form of gastric distress that sent them running for the outhouse.

Good luck!

Unless you are young, have a very healthy immune system, and good medical insurance, I would toss. I would curse while tossing it, but I would regretfully, toss it. No sense in risking getting sick and maybe having to go to urgent care.
